Jack Fruit

Jackfruit is a large, tropical fruit that’s easily recognizable due to its massive size, green or yellowish, spiky exterior, and distinctive sweet aroma. It is the largest fruit that grows on a tree, with some weighing up to 80 pounds (36 kg) or more. When cut open, its thick, fibrous flesh reveals numerous large, edible pods that are bright yellow in color. The pods are sweet, juicy, and have a chewy texture, similar to that of a dense, fleshy pear or a mango.
